The Build Show showcases how-to content, the latest techniques, best practices, and products and materials for residential building. We have cultivated an extremely dedicated and niche audience of builders, remodelers, and journeymen who look to The Build Show as an authority on best practices. Our videos have garnered hundreds of millions of views since our inception, with a YouTube channel with over 1.2 million subscribers, and between all of our contributors, we have over 1.5 million social followers.<\/p>\n

Our content, focused on building science and fine craftsmanship, started back in 2008 with Matt Risinger posting bi-weekly videos to his Youtube channel about life as a home builder. Fast forward ten years and almost a million subscribers later, TheBuildShow.com<\/span><\/a> is launched which brought in other like minded educators like Jake Bruton and Steve Baczek.<\/p>\n

The Build Show continues to expand with an impressive team of expert contributors that represent diverse geographies, climates and areas of expertise including master builders, remodelers, contractors, carpenters, drywall finishing and HVAC. Today we push out over 20 videos a week with over 5000 total videos published to date, we send three weekly newsletters, have over 1.7 million unique visitors a month to our website, and over one million downloads of our top ranking podcasts. Not only do we produce weekly videos and podcasts, we also produce long form, thematic building series including the classroom-styled educational series, Build Science which has recently been picked up by several Builder Associations at the state level.<\/p>\n

This expansion culminated in 2024 with our first ever live event, Build Show Live, which saw over 2500 attendees flock to Austin, Texas to learn directly from our Build Show Experts. This event was widely seen by attendees and exhibitors as a triumphant success, solidifying The Build Show as the number one trusted source in builder education.<\/p>\n
